It is made in Florence from glossy, vampire-red, box-calf leather that has a gold rating from the Leather Working Group the highest certification a tannery can receive for environmental and social practices. The interior is lined in matching satin leather and fitted with a pocket for your phone, a smaller compartment for a lipstick, and a gold mirror with its own labelled slot. Carry it as a clutch, by the top handle, or by the optional long strap.
